Textbook Brokers Selected as Official Online Bookstore for the University of Oklahoma

Textbook Brokers has partnered with University of Oklahoma to serve as the official online bookstore provider for the Norman campus beginning with the Fall 2023 semester. The partnership is designed to expand access to affordable course materials while supporting broader student affordability and engagement initiatives.
Under this new model, Textbook Brokers offers students increased access to used, rental, and digital course material options through an OU-branded online platform. These expanded purchasing options are intended to provide greater flexibility and help reduce overall course material costs for students.
As part of the partnership, the University of Oklahoma anticipates a significant increase in funding dedicated to course material affordability. According to the university, the transition is expected to allow OU to double its annual textbook scholarship funding to $100,000, creating additional financial support opportunities for students.
The collaboration also supports continued investment in affordability initiatives across campus, including potential technology enhancements aimed at lowering or eliminating student costs for classroom tools such as audience response systems. These efforts align with a shared commitment to improving the academic experience while minimizing financial barriers.
In addition to course materials support, Textbook Brokers will provide funding to assist student organizations, with a particular focus on programs serving student veterans. This reflects a broader emphasis on community engagement and student support beyond the bookstore experience.
